Cassandra is the powerhouse behind It’s Time Event Management, a social enterprise dedicated to empowering businesses and communities through high-impact events. Passionate about entrepreneurship, networking, and diversity, she has built a platform that champions businesses and service providers.
Beyond events, Cassandra is a recognized leader and advocate, serving as President of the Foster Parents Association and VP of the League of Ontario Foster Parents. Her dedication to community service has earned her prestigious honors, including CIBWE Canada’s Top Black Women to Watch (2022), the EmpowerHer Award, and the Orleans Leading Women and Girls Recognition Award.

The Ottawa Black Business Expo, hosted annually, is a premier event dedicated to amplifying over 100 Black-owned businesses, organizations, and service providers. As Ottawa’s largest Black business showcase, the Expo provides a powerful platform for entrepreneurs to market their products, promote services, and generate valuable leads to accelerate business growth.
Recognized for its impact, the Expo’s success contributed to the official declaration of May as Black Business Month in both 2023 and 2024, reinforcing the importance of supporting and celebrating Black entrepreneurship.
